BBK DAV organizes Guest Lecture on Business Communication

Amritsar, Mar. 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of BBK DAV College organized a guest lecture on ‘Business Communication’. Mr. Aneesh Bhanot, CEO, Aneeshiative Firm, Chandigarh was the resource person.

Mr. Bhanot conducted various hands-on sessions which helped students to improve their communication skills and boost their confidence. While interacting with students, he laid stress on the importance of communication skills and body language in business communication. He further added that a human being is limited by his imagination and there is an untapped reservoir of potential lying in every person. Mr. Aneesh Bhanot is the proud brother of the courageous air hostess ‘Neerja’ on whose life a biopic has been released. Mr. Aneesh Bhanot also talked about his recent book ‘The Neerja I Knew’, which he wrote as a tribute to his younger sister.

Appreciating the efforts of the department, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that such hands-on sessions are essential for honing students’ vocational skills. She added that BBK DAV College has always emphasized such sessions. Dr. Priyanka Bassi, Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, along with other faculty members, attended the lecture.
