Grandparent’s Day Celebration in Vajra Army Pre Primary School

Jalandhar, Mar. 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Grandparent’s Day was celebrated in Vajra Army Pre Primary School (VAPPS)  for the very first time in the history of school on 18 and 19 Mar 2016. 200 grandparents attended the function which was especially organised and designed for them.  Many games and activities were conducted on the occasion like ‘guess the advertisement’, ‘share your views’ and “My Grandma” & “My Grandpa” contest. Grandparents were overwhelmed. Principal Mrs Jaya Tiwari said that “ it is as a  recognition and a heartfelt gesture to our elders to thank them for guiding the future generation in a manner to enable these tiny angels to become a responsible citizen of our country, taking our country to scale new heights”. The event culminated on a happy note and catering for refreshments for all.
