Pingalwara residents welcomed Manav Ekta Mission Peace March

Amritsar, April 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Mr. M. the leader of Manav Ekta Mission has launched a Peace March of 7500 Km from Kanyakumari to Srinagar. Total distance to be covered is 7500 km traversing 11 states. On arrival at Manawala Complex of Pingalwara accompanied by over 100 volunteers from 11 different states, he was profusely welcomed by Pingalwara residents. After going around Pingalwara wards, he was deeply touched by the humanitarian’s work of the Pingalwara and mentioned that his mission is also to gather the ground information about suffering of human beings by undertaking the walk across the length and breadth of the country. A great social reformer an educationist and spiritualist, he promised to spare some time to be with the residents after completion of the walk. The walk is likely to culminate at Srinagar in May 2016.

            Dr. Inderjit Kaur while welcoming him, said that mission of Mr. M as well as Bhagat Puran Singh has many similarities. We both believe in alleviation of human suffering, female emancipation and improvement in environment. Prominent among these who accompanied him were during the walk were Loretta Chang from Hongkong. Dr. Vinod from Thrissur Kerala, Mr. Anant Gupta and Mr. DD Ghole from Pune (Maharashtra), Mr. Ajay Singh Ex-DGP Karnataka, Mr. Tara Singh Ex-Principal Secretary Karnataka,  Commodore Ravinder Nath Ex-Navy, Dr. Rameshwar Saloni from Delhi, Sh. Krishna Kulkarni Great Grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. From Pingalwara Dr. Jagdeepak Singh Vice President, Dr. Sarbjit Singh Chhina, Col. Darshan Singh Bawa Administrator, Mr. Jai Singh Administrator Manawala and Mr. Tilak Raj General Manager were present.
