CKD inaugurates a new SGH International School & Charitable Dispensary

Amritsar, 9 May (Punjab Post Bureau)-  Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society  has a long history of 112 years to serve the every section of society. Since its inception in 1902, CKD has embarked upon a new venture in the field of education . After the recent inauguration of  Sri Guru H arkrishan Public school at Kapurthala,  Chief Khalsa Diwan has inaugurated a new school  Sri Guru Harkrishan Internetional School at Kanpur. In a Press statement President Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha said  that  the new school at Kanpur  comprises of fully AC, well  furnished, well lighted and well equipped class rooms and computer labs. Chief Khalsa Diwan has set up a  premier educational institute first of its kind  in Kanpur with all the ultra modern facilities. Chief Khalsa Diwan also inaugurated Sri Guru Harkrishan Charitable Dispensary where free medicines and other medical facilities would be provided to  the patients.Hon. Secy. S. Narinder Singh Khurana commented that apart from establishing 50 schools, Chief Khalsa Diwan has now  entered into the field of Technical, Vocational & Professioanl Education. Consequently, it has already started CKD International Nursing College & CKD Institute of Management & Technology in  Amritsar. CKD Institute of Management & Technology at Tarn Taran  is also scheduled to open its doors very shortly & the project of CKD Institute of Liberal Arts and  Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School at  Shubam Enclave  in  Amritsar  are under consideration. Chief Khalsa Diwan  has successfully added three  Adarsh schools at Dhandran (Ludhiana)  Naushera Pannua (Tarn Taran) and Ucha Pind ( Kapurthala) in collaboration with Punjab Government. Moreove the present functionaries of  Chief Khalsa Diwan are making all-out efforts to keep the aspirations of its founders alive and are always serious for its further development.
