Heritage Day Observed at Sri Guru Harkrishan Pub. School G.T Road

Amritsar, April 18 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of Senior Section of Sri Guru Harkrishan Pub. School G.T Road observed the World Heritage Day with zeal and fervor. To reinforce the significant message a quiz was conducted by the students of VII and VIII to unleash their knowledge about the History of India. In this Team A got 1st position and Team B and D bagged 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Director/Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh in his inspirational speech motivated the students that World Heritage is a wonderful reminder of our rich past and it is our duty to preserve and protect the heritage and this can be protected with the collective efforts of the international community. Headmistress Mrs. Kawalpreet insisted that heritage sites need to be protected as they are the valuable assets of Human civilization.
