BBK Dav organises Farewell ‘Sayonara 2016’

Amritsar, Apr. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College organised farewell ‘Sayonara-2016’ in Urvi auditorium to bid adieu to the students passing out of the college this year. ‘Uniting States’ was the theme of the farewell. The event was comprised of three rounds of modelling in which around 100 girls, dressed in vibrant attires, walked the ramp. Mesmerising song and dance performances, representing the rich culture of different states of India, were staged. Title of Miss BBK DAV was conferred on Drishti Mishra while title of Miss Brainy was bestowed upon Karanpreet. Title of Miss Senorita was conferred on Tamana Rampal. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia blessed the students and advised them to inculcate inner beauty in the first place and the outer beauty afterwards by imbibing patience, kindness, compassion and love. She also urged students to evolve a balanced personality for dealing with all type of situations in life. She added that life is the most important thing gifted by God; so we should cherish each moment of this precious gift. Ms. Aditi Jain, Dean, Youth Welfare Department gave her blessings to the students for their final exams.
