Top Rankers of National Science Talent Search Examination–2016 honoured

Amritsar, May 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  27 students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road were honoured for securing Top Ranks in the National Science Talent Search Examination–2016 organised by Unified Council. 4 students out of these,  Adit Sood of Std V,  Pranshul Arora of Std VI and Eshaan Sharma of Std X  secured class rank 1 and National ranks 29 , 62 and 63 respectively and Vandit Khanna of Std VIII was ranked 3 at the State Level in the examination. They received  a gold  Medal  and gift hampers for their performance.  The other students, Atharva Tripathi , Aastha Sen and Ashish Yadav of Std X  bagged rank 1 , 2 and 3 in the second level and school  rank 1 , 2  and 3 in the first level respectively. Japsimar Miglani and  Yuvraj Singh Kahlon of Std IX bagged rank 2  and 3 in the second level and first level respectively. Tarul Manan , Vishwam Salwan and Munishwar Sharma of Std VIII bagged rank 1 , 2 and 3  in the second level and rank 2 , 3  and 1 in the first level respectively and made the school proud by competing with their counterparts from all over India. They were awarded with Gold , Silver and Bronze  Medal respectively. Apeksha Vasisth, Devanshi Kansal of Std VII  stood 2^nd   and 3^rd  in  school and received Silver and Bronze medal respectively. From Std VI , Omang Kalra and Shrishti  Sharma stood 1^st and 2^nd  at school and received Gold and Silver medal respectively. From Std V , Raveesh Gulati bagged Silver Medal ( Rank 2 ) at school , from Std IV Rijul Sood and Sarthak Mehta bagged rank 2 and 3 and received Silver and Bronze medal respectively. Saanvi Mohla , Harshit Kapoor,  Pareeza Mahajan of Std III ,Vihaan Khanna , Jayesh Verma and Vansh Sandhu of Std II and Leelank Juneja , Chetanya Arora and Anshita Gupta of Std I bagged rank  1 , 2  and 3  received Gold , Silver and Bronze  medal respectively. All these students carved a niche for themselves with their hard work in the prestigious national level exam.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate , Amritsar congratulated the students for their achievement and blessed them for their future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school was happy at the performance of the students and congratulated the teachers and the students for the brilliant performance .She encouraged the students to maintain their performance in future also.
