DAV Public School Excels in Karate

Amritsar, May 4 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road proved their mettle in Karate  in 7^th ISKA Punjab State Karate  – Do Championship  held at Alpha One recently. Rabaab Dhingra of  Std X and Sameer Vyas of Std VI bagged Second  position and Drish Joshi  of Std VI , Ayush Kad of Std  V and Naman Sharma of Std IX won Third  position in the  championship.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra  and the Manager of the school , Dr.Rajesh  Kumar  Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the  achievers and asked them to follow their passion.

Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school , while applauding  their efforts said that Martial Arts , alongwith being a good physical exercise , trains a person to protect oneself. She added that she would like to see more  girls joining this sport for their benefit.
