“Mango Day” celebrated at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School

Amritsar, May 26 (Punjab Post Bureau)- “Mango Day” was celebrated under the guidance of Principal Ravinder Kaur Bumra with great enthusiasm at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Airport Road. The students of Pre-Nursery, KG and 1^st came dressed in yellow attires and accessories likes shades, flip-flops, sandals umbrella etc. They visited different corneas set up in school, signifying how summer can be cool and fun for all. The corners, displayed summer fruits and vegetables & healthy drinks. Adding flavor to the day was the little tiny tots tapping feet togather at the dance floor making a fun beginning to the summer holidays. Principal Ravinder Kaur Bumra said that Mango is the king of all fruits. She advised the students that they should take water juice that can prevent them from the scorching heat. They should take caps, umbrellas that will keep them safe while going out in the hot sun.
