CKD Institute of Management & Technology Students Bagged Prominent Placements in Top Companies

Amritsar, May 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Senior Executives headed by Mr. Deepak Anand of UAE XCHANGE, a renowned and leading company in money transfer, currency exchange and payment solutions services with its headquarters in UAE, Dubai visited CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT), Amritsar recently.They conducted the placement drive in which large number of MBA students participated. The selection process started with Pre-Placement talk followed by personal interview round. Initially,8 students were shortlisted who were then subjected to final round of selection process held at the Company premises at Jalandhar. Finally 3 MBA students of CKDIMT namely Mandeep Singh, Gurvinder Singh and Gurpreet Kaur have been selected as Business Development Manager in UAE XCHANGE with the attractive salary package of Rs. 2.50 Lakh Per Annum.

Earlier, another 2 students of BCA of CKDIMT were also selected in top notch IT giant multinational Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In the first round,the company hadshortlisted the students throughseries ofonline testsconsisting of Aptitude, Challenge round, Online Surveys and video conference. Whereas in the second round of  Personal InterviewSimarpreet Kaur Walia and  Nalinshay Aneja of  BCA were finally selected. President Charanjit Singh Chadha and Member Incharge Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal expressed happiness for this excellent placement of students of CKDIMT and also congratulated them. Principal Dr. H.S Sandhu appreciated the efforts of  Jagdeep Pannu (Head Training and Placement Cell) in the placement of students. He added that besides selection in TCS, Simarpreet Kaur Walia also got job offers from other two reputed companies like Tech Mahindra and HCL.
