GNDU researcher to participate in 66th meeting of Nobel Laureates in Germany

PPN2206201610Amritsar, June 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Ms. Yashika Ghai, Phd student in Department of Physics of Guru Nanak Dev University working under the guidance of Prof. NPS Saini in the field of Plasma Physics is going to attend the “66th Meeting of Nobel Laureates and students” at Lindau, Germany from  June 26 – July 01, 2016.nEach year since 1951, Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry, Physics, Physiology or Medicine have been meeting in Lindau, Germany, to discuss major issues of importance to their fields with students from around the world. The meetings includes lectures, panel and round-table discussions on interdisciplinary topics and informal small-group meetings with the Nobel Prize winners. More than 30 Nobel Laureates and 400 young researchers from 80 countries will participate in this year’s Lindau Meeting. Ms. Yashika is the only student selected from Punjab for this event nominated by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi along with 20 students from all over India.
