1187 cases disposed off from taken up 1294 cases in National Lok Adalat

Amritsar, July 9 (Punjab Post Bureau)- As per the directions given by National Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat held today pertaining to Electricity, Water, Telephone and Public Utility disputes at District Courts, Amritsar. In this regard the bench of Sh. Mandeep Singh, Civil Judge Junior Division at District Courts, Amritsar and as well as the bench of Sh. Chetan Sharma, Civil Judge Junior Division, Ajnala were constituted for taken up and disposal of maximum cases related to the Electricity, Water, Telephone and Public Utility disputes categories in National Lok Adalat. Total 1294 cases were taken up in this National Lok Adalat and 1187 cases were disposed off. Settled amount in this National Lok Adalat is Rs.60,22,287/-(Sixty lakh twenty thousand two hundred eighty seven Rupees).
