KCE won Best Discipline Team in Hiking

Amritsar, July 12 (Dharmender Singh Rataul) – The team of students from Khalsa College of Education won the `Best Discipline Team’ title in the hiking and trekking camps, organised by Youth Welfare Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, at Dalhousie (HP). The team was selected following performance in the number of events like poetry, solo dance, group dance, debate, said Principal of the College Dr. J.S Dhillon.

            He said the resource persons were Dr. Navdeep Singh Tung, Dean Academic Affairs, GNDU, Amritsar Dr.Surinder Tung, Professor, Deptt. of Psychology, GNDU, Amritsar. He said their two teams were declared as the best disciplined teams and apart from this girls bagged first position in dance and poetical recitation competition and boys won first position in debate competition. Principal Dhillon felicitated the participants & staff incharge for bringing laurels to the institution.
