Amritsar, July 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – An exquisite Kirtan Darbar is hosted every year on the occasion of “ Parkash Purab of Eighth Guru Shri Guru Harkrishan Ji Sahib” by Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. This Year also, Kirtan Darbar on Grand scale is going to be organized on 31 July, 2016 ( Sunday) from 5.00 pm to 10:30 pm in Sri Guru Harkrishan Sen. Sec. School, G.T Road on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab.
In a Press conference organized today for the purpose , President Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha said that Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society is always in the efforts of preserving the heritage and descending the religious values to the next generation. Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh ji and Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh ji , Head Granthi Sri Darbar Sahib would grace the occasion. Bhai Joginder Singh Riar, Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri, Bhai Ravinder Singh Hazoori Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Badu Sahib Tadhi Jatha ,Bibi Prabhjot Kaur , G.T. Road, School Jatha, would chant divine and soulful kirtan. SGPC President S. Avtar Singh, Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale, Baba Darshan Singh Gumtale Wale, Dr. Balwant Singh Tung, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Hardas Singh will be honoured by Chief Khalsa Diwan for their splendorous services. Convener of Kirtan Darbar S. Tajinder Singh Sardar Pagri House wale said that the programe includes joined efforts of services and participation from Shri Amritsar Sewak Sabha Society, Waheguru Simran Sewa Society, Sri Sukhmani Sahib sewa society and Gurmat satsung Sabha . Kirtan Darbar would feature special theme of reflecting life of Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji , Sikh history, faith and culture.. The whole program will be live telecasted by Fastway cable on channel no. 550. At the occasion , Hon. Secy S. N.S. Khurana, S. Harminder Singh, S. Tajinder Singh Sardar Pagri House wale, Dr. Dharamveer Singh, Principals of CKD schools and other societies head were present.
