B.Ed. vacant seats will be uploaded on the website by Aug. 9

Amritsar, August 2 (Punjab Post Bureau)- All the candidates of B.Ed. who had applied for admission in various B.Ed. Colleges through the online allocation of seats which have been published on B.Ed. admissions website on 2-08-2016 are informed that after the completion of the first counseling, the vacant seats will be uploaded on the website by 9.08.2016 . It has been brought to the notice of undersigned that some colleges have misguided the candidate who desired to get admission in B.Ed. Colleges of Punjab that they should fill up only one choice, which happens to be their own college on the website whereas all the candidates were entitled to fill 10 Colleges of their choice. As a result, many candidates failed to get admission under the first online counseling for the college of their choice. All such candidates who could not get a seat on first online counseling due to above mentioned reason or any other reason are advised to wait for a week till the vacant seats of B.Ed. in different colleges are declared. The students are informed that as per notification of B.Ed. Admission, large number of seats are available, therefore, they are  advised not to be trapped or misguided  by agents who are forcing the students to get admission in a particular college which may or may not be choice of the student. The procedure for the admission against the vacant seats will be published in leading news papers as well as on the B.Ed. admission website very shortly.
