“Students of SGHP school Basant Avenue shines in ICSE results.”

Amritsar, 22 May 2014 (Jagdeep Singh)-  Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Basant Avenue have once again outshone in class X ICSE Board Examination, held in March 2014.They have made us proud by maintaining their meritorious traditions and added another feather in their cap by scoring 96% in their result declared on May 21, 2014. It is one of the best results of its region. Students have brought laurels to school by showing remarkable result, all with First divisions. 70 students appeared in all. Sixteen students scored more than 90%. 29 students got 80% -89%, Sixteen students scored 70% -79%, nine students were falling in the category of 60% – 69%.  On this momentous occasion, the meritorious achievers came to school to seek the blessings of our stalwarts S. Nirmal Singh Ji, Resident President, CKDCS, Member Incharge school and S. Inderpreet Singh Ji Chadha, Member Incharge school. Both the Member Incharges congratulated the staff members & the students for showing remarkable result in the Boards. They inspired the students with their motivational speech and encouraged them to work hard with the same zeal and enthusiasm in the years to come. Mrs. Nirmal Kaur, Principal of the school also congratulated the meritorious achievers for their glorious journey. She also appreciated the meticulous efforts of the staff members and co-operation of the parents. Mrs. Nirmal Kaur said in her speech that the students have proved the motto of school i.e. “The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach to the full potential……, these are the three keys with which you can unlock the door to excellence.”
