President’s Greetings on the Eve of Raksha Bandhan

May the Rakhi festival strengthen fraternal feelings and the spirit of oneness in our society as we strive collectively for the well-being of our people. May this unique festival inculcate in us the need to protect the women in our society and promote their welfare. Let us on this occasion resolve to ensure that the women and girls of our country feel safe and secure at all times”.
