DAV Public School Bags Top Positions in Karate

Amritsar, Sept. 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In I.S.K.A North–India Karate–Do Championship held at Celebration Mall , Batala Road , Amritsar recently, the students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar won 8 Medals . Among the different schools participating from in and around Amritsar, the following  students of DAV Public School won medals. Vatsak Kapoor, Hiten Sharma of Std II , Sanvi of  Std III and Arnav Seth of Std VI bagged  Gold Medal. Yuvraj of Std II and Dhriti Mehra of X bagged Silver Medal and Bhavya of Std III and Anurag Bharti of Std X  bagged Bronze Medal.

Regional Director, Punjab Zone –A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh  Kumar , Principal  DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance.Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school while applauding their efforts said that sports are very necessary for our overall development and added that she would like to see every student to participate in one or the other sport.
