Bureau) – To invoke blessings of almighty and to seek bountiful benedictions, an Ardas Diwas was organized at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET), where the rendition of Kirtan rant the air. The engineering students themselves performed Kirtan following the Bhog of Akhand Path as the annual even led to the spiritual experience.
Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina congratulated the students for their excellent initiative in this regard and exhorted them to acquire technical and employability skills to meet the challenges of the modern, competitive world. He along with Principal Dr.Amarpal Singh bestowed siropas upon students performing Kirtan and honoured the students who performed well in various academic and sports competitions. KCGC joint secretary Sukhdev Singh Abdal, Sardool Singh Manan, Member, PS Bal, Principals of various Colleges and schools Dr. Mohinder Sangita (Dean Academics), Dr. Gurdial Singh (Dean, Agriculture) faculty members and students were present on the occasion. Principal Dr. Amarpal Singh thanked all the dignitaries, faculty and the students and conveyed his best wishes to the new entrants of Engineering and BSc. Agriculture on the occasion.
