Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema condoles Sad Demise of School Children in a Mishap

Chandigarh, September 20 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has expressed shock at the sad demise of 5 school children in a mishap here today when a bus belonging to the DAV school fell into a canal near attari. The bus was carrying 50 children. The bodies of 5 children were recovered from the canal.

Deeply condoling the heart wrenching incident, Dr. Cheema said that he stands with the parents and near and dear ones of the deceased children in this hour of grief and prays to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and courage to their families to bear this loss. He also said that he would be reaching Amritsar today itself to enquire after the health of those injured in the incident.
