
Amritsar, September 24 (Punjab Post Bureau)- To promote art and culture in the region, KAUSA Trust, after opening its KT:Kalã Kendra at Lawrence Road, Amritsar is continuously working for it. The trust organises many programmes like Art exhibitions / workshops / competitions/ seminars etc. It also provides its KT:Kalã Kendra free of charge to the artists /students / schools / colleges / organisations to hold their exhibitions / workshops / seminars etc.
This time a National Art Exhibition is organised in collaboration with 27 Art Point (Jodhpur). . The exhibition was inaugurated by senior artist Sh. Gursewak Singh from Delhi. Sh Rajesh Raina, Secretary Kausa Trust, Dr. Baldev Gambhir, Sh.Tikam Khandappa, director of 27 Art Point Jodhpur, brajesh jolly, director KT:Kalã.
The exhibition is a good platform for the budding artists of the city to have a look on the different types of work and be aware that what type of art is being done in the different parts of India. It is good to see their techniques, texture, colour composition etc.
Art works of 79 artists from Kerla, Karnatka, Bengal, Assam, Rajasthanm, Gujrat, Delhi Orissa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Punjab and from other parts of the country are displayed.
