Khalsa College of Education stands firtst in GNDU Zonal Youth Festival

Amritsar, October 3 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The Zonal Youth Festival of Educational Colleges was concluded here today in the Dasmesh Auditorium of the University.            Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar was, Champion,: Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar,  Runners-up and  M.G.N. College of Education Jalandhar Third Position

                   Prof. T.S. Banipal, Director Research of the University presided over the valedictory function. Dr. Rajesh Kalia, Deputy Registrar (General) was the guest of honor. Prof. Banipal congratulated Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director Youth Welfare to successfully organizing this youth festival.  Prof. Banipal, Dr. Kalia and Dr. Jagjit Kaur presented the trophies to the winners. Dr. Jagjit Kaur also honoured the guests with mementos.  During this festival, student-artists of various educational colleges participated in Skit, Mimicry, Costume Exhibition, Geet/Gazal, Folk Song, Painting, Cartooning, Poster-Making, Clay Modeling, Collage, Painting Still Life, Sketching, Slogan Writing, Group Shabad/Bhajan, Group Song (Indian), Elocution, Poetical Symposium, Rangoli, Phulkari, Quiz Prelimnary, Gidha and Debate.
