Amritsar, October 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – SIP Centre under the name Brawny Brains headed by Gurdeep Kaur Area Head conducted a SIP Abacus & Mental Arithmetic competition in Amritsar Called SIP Prodigy at SIFTI International to mark the 10th anniversary celebration of SIP Amritsar. About 467 SIP Trained students age 6 to 12 years participated in this Competition from various schools of Amritsar and Jandiala. They solved 125 sums in 3 minutes in this exciting competition. About 500 Parents of the children also witnessed this event.
Mr. Kelvin Tham Renowned Brain Gym Practitioner & Founder of SIP Academy from Malaysia along with Brain Gym Practitioner Miss Wong Mai Kit participated in this event and gave the Brain Gym session of 1.30 hours to the parents and children during contest. They practically showed the effect of Brain Gym by doing it on the parents.SIP Academy is operating in 16 countries with 1300 appx centres worldwide including 712 centres in India.
The contest was attended by distinguished personalities and Principals of Various leading schools of Amritsar.Students of Sri Harkrishan School Bhagtanwala, Spring Dale School, Delhi Public School, Sacred Heart School, Alexandra School, DAV School, Sri Guru Harkrishan school, Basant Avenue, Sri Guru Harkrishan School Golden Avenue, Sri Guru Harkrishan School G.T Road, Sri Guru Harkrishan School Ranjit Avenue, Manav Public School, Senior Studies won the trophies at different levels. Mr Kelvin Tham & Miss wong Mai Kit gave the prizes to winners. Now the SIP students will participate in SIP National contest at Mumbai to be held on 19 November 2016 in which 5000 SIP students from 21 states comprising of 223 cities will participate.
