MP Sh. Partap Singh Bajwa visited the village Awan of Ajnala today

Amritsar, October 5 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Rajya Sabha MP Sh. Partap Singh Bajwa along with former cabinet minister Sh. Sardool Singh Bandala, DCC Rural chief Gurjeet Singh Aujla visited the dana mandi at village Awan of Ajnala today and listened to the issues faced by farmers and mandi labourers. Farmers complained that there is no supply of jute bags by government, thus  purchase grains has not started yet. They said that government is favouring private buyers who are paying less than the government rate. Bajwa assured the farmers that he will talk to the procurement agencies and find a favorable solution for the farmers. Later on Bajwa visited the border village of Gonewal and met the resident there.
