Amritsar, Oct. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – As a part of campaign to create Road Safety Rules awareness among the students on the World Students Day DAV Public School Lawrence Road organised a seminar for the students of IX & X in its premises. A team of Traffic police comprising Harjit Singh Dhaliwal ADCP Traffic, Hardyal Singh ACP Traffic , Paramjit Singh SI, Surinder Pal Singh , Traffic Marshal and Sr. Harjinder Singh Traffic Marshal visited the school and shared the valuable information on Road Safety Rules.
They told the students about the road safety strategies which have to be followed for their safety and for others’ safety. They stressed that these rules and regulations are developed over time to facilitate the orderly and timely flow of traffic. People following the rules of the road and driving in a safe and conscientious manner will never face any problem. They also showcased a short film and power point presentation to make the things more effective.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of the school for organising such seminars which will help the students to get proper knowledge of rules which they have to follow for their own safety. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school emphasised that rules of road and driving etiquette are general practices that are required to be followed, and she assured that her students would act as ambassadors and spread this message of Road safety everywhere as ‘Road Safety is our responsibility’.
