DAV Celebrates Birth Anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Amritsar, October 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar conducted a special assembly on the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He was a great scientist who made India proud with his missile defence programme. Students paid tribute to India’s 11^th President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He was known as People’s President. Students read out the list of his remarkable achievements, the way he worked selflessly for the development of the country and his inspirational quotes which will always ring in the minds of the people for  the days to come. Students recited the poems written by him and enacted a role play portraying his ideology. Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar applauded the efforts of the students for remembering such a  great scientist who had such an aura that students still look up to him and his teachings. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school stressed the need for  imbibing the values of this great personality  and our  only  tribute to him  is to walk on the path shown by him.
