BBK DAV Lifts Gndu Inter-College Lawn Tennis Championship

Amritsar, November 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Lawn Tennis team of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar won the GNDU Inter-College Lawn Tennis Championship held at Laurel’s Academy Amritsar. College team won this trophy for the fourth time consecutively by defeating HMV College, Jalandhar and KMV College, Jalandhar. Ms. Avantika, Sharishty, Nirmaljeet Kaur and Divankshi participated in the championship.  Sh. Sudershan Kapoor, Chariman, Local Managing Committee, Dr. Sarvjit Brar, wife of Hon’ble Dr. A.S Brar, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar & Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various Championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
