All India Inter-University Track Cycling (MW) Championship inaugurated at GNDU

Amritsar, November 16 (Punjab Post Bureau)- All India Inter-University TrackCycling (Men & Women) Championship was inaugurated here today in International Standard Velodrome of the Guru Nanak Dev University.  As many as 20 teams  in men and 11 teams in women category from different Universities are participating in this championship.Association of Indian Universities is organizing and Department of Physical Education (AT) is hosting these championships which would be concluded on November 19. Dr. H.S Randhawa, Deputy Director Sports & Head inaugurated these championships and gave the details about the activities of the Department. He said that students should play their game with spirit of true sportsmanship without bothering the results. He said that sports are integral part of student life. He said that as many as ten international level players are also participating in these championships.
