Summer Vacation Sports Camp at KCPS

Amritsar, 2 June (Paritam Singh)- With the motto of `healthy mind in a healthy body’, a special sports and coaching camp today kick started at Khalsa College Public School (KCPS). The camp will be organized during the morning hours and coaching by the experts would be provided in sports including Cricket, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Athletics, Judo, Table-Tennis, Football, Volley-Ball, Rope-Skipping and Karate, said KCPS Principal Dr.Sarvjit Brar. She said the aim of the camp is to channelize the energy of the students during the summer break and inculcating amongst them the sense of competitiveness and discipline through sports. Dr.Brar said it is important to streamline the students’ minds towards the extra-curricular activities and games and sorts play a significant role in this direction. “This also aims to inculcate the qualities among the student’s about the spirit of cooperation, discipline, team spirit and sportsmanship’’, said Dr.Brar adding that the school offer each child a kaleidoscope of scholastic and co-scholastic activities of every conceivable interest and attitude to make each child an all-rounder.
