Swachhata Pakhwada at Beas Military Station

Jalandhar, 5 Dec (Punjab Post Bureau) – ‘Health and happiness follow cleanliness’.  The Indian Armed Forces have always contributed towards conservation of environment.  In tune with this spirit, Military Station Beas is observing ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ from 01 to 15 December 2016, organized under the ‘Swachha  Bahart  Abhiyan’.  The event aims at creating awareness regarding the importance for maintaining a clean environment and protection of our eco-system.  A series of activities and events have been planned over the fortnight which include, talks and debates, ‘Best Out of Waste’ competition and cleanliness drives; so as to generate interest and solicit participation of one and all.
