BBK DAV Bags Runners-Up Position in Gndu Inter-College Squash Racket Championship

Amritsar, Dec. 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Squash Racket team of BBK DAV College for Women got runners-up position in the GNDU Inter-College Squash Racket Championship held at Service Club Amritsar. College team gave a splendid show by defeating HMV College, Jalandhar. Team members were Ms. Sargun Kaur, Niramaljit Kaur, Priyanka, Km Anisha Sharma, Kamaljit Kaur and Jasdeep Kaur.

Sh. Sudershan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Managing Committee, Dr. Sarvjit Brar, wife of Hon’ble Dr. A.S. Brar, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar & Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. Dr. Walia added that the college players have always made a mark in various Championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
