Majitha, Dec 25 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia strongly hitting out at Captain Amrinder Singh has said that Captain’s life is full of drams and known for shifting sides for his personal benefits therefore people do not trust him anymore. He said that SAD-BJP alliance will increase the benefits of welfare Schemes and start more welfare schemes if voted to Power for the third consecutive term. In Majitha constituency Congress suffered a major setback as many families joined ShiromaniAkali Dal in the presence of Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia at village Dadian. Welcoming the new workers int the SAD fold Mr. Majithia said that these people have joined ShiromaniAkali Dal due to the benefits being provided by the SAD-BJP Government under the dynamic leadership of CM S. Parkash Singh Badal to the needy and the poor under various welfare schemes. He said that on the other hand Congress have always used these people just to fulfill their political interests and never cared to provide them even basic facilities or fulfill their basic needs.
He further said that Captain Amrinder Singh is daily giving anti poor statements of stopping all Welfare schemes if voted to power which clearly shows his anti poor mindset. He said that Captain has always stood against the welfare of employees and youth during his tenure as CM as he put a complete ban on government jobs and now when Punjab government has regularized the services of 27 thousand contractual employees now again Captain is giving statements against the employees. Mr. Majithia said that even on the issue of SYL Canal Captain was the one who welcomed Indra Gandhi for the construction of SYL and betrayed our farmers and now again he has mislead the farmers by filling loan waiver forms and the farmers are now feeling cheated who are eager to teach a strong lesson to the Congress party.
He said that Punjab Government called a special session of the VidhanSabha to safeguard the interests of people and passed an act on SYL issue and Badal Government have closed the chapter of SYL permanently by returning the land to the real owners. He said that but Captain issued statements against this special session which was called to protect the interests of the farmers. Commenting on Kejriwal making promises in separate manifestos of AAP, Mr. Majithia said that Kejriwal has nothing to do with the interests of Punjab or welfare of the people, he has come to Punjab just to defame Punjabis and collect money by selling tickets through his goons of Delhi and UP. He said that Kejriwal formed a political party in the name of setting high ethical values but the real picture is that AAP has crossed all unethical limits such exploitation of women, corruption and indulging in heinous criminal activities. He said that now due to such activities of AAP, Kejriwal is not even a spare player in the coming VidhanSabha elections.
