Majitha, January 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Congress suffered a big jolt in Majitha Constituency as 20 Congress families joined ShiromaniAkali Dal in the presence of Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia here today. Talking to media persons Mr. Majithia said that Captain & Kejriwal are fighting the battle of false promises to ditch the people of Punjab whereas SAD-BJP alliance is in the people on the development agenda. He said that in Punjab as per rules there are only 4.5 lakh government jobs in Punjab but Kejriwal is making fake promises of 25 lakh jobs and Captain going further in this race of false and unrealistic promises announcing to give 60 lakh jobs. Mr. Majithia questioned Delhi Chief Minister to give figures of jobs which he has provided in Delhi where he is not even to give job to 200 people. He said that past record of Captain Amrinder Singh also shows that he put a complete ban on job recruitments in Punjab during his tenure as Chief Minister. ‘Both Kejriwal & Captain will not be able to save the sinking ship with fake promises. He said that youth of Punjab is fully aware of such cheap tactics of such anti Punjab parties who are trying to use them for their petty political interests.
Mr. Majithia said that AAP is already scattered and facing internal threats of division in the party and Kejriwal’s hidden agenda of becoming Punjab CM has already been exposed as he is siding away from declaring CM candidate of his party in Punjab. He further said that Kejriwal has fielded his best bet Himat Singh Shergill in Majithia who would not be able even to save his deposit. Replying to a media query, Mr. Majithia said that Kejriwal is playing cards of castism and religion to deceive the people of Punjab but Punjabis are wise enough to teach him a historic lesson. He said that how can one trust Kejriwal who is giving statements of making dalit a Deputy Chief Minister whereas on the other hand he has shown the door to his party dalit MP.
