Amritsar, January 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The prestigious ‘Katha Utsav-2016’ organised by CBSE was held recently

at the Sanskriti School, New Delhi. The aim of the Utsav is to enhance creative and imaginative skills of the children and enhance language skills by arranging a National Level workshop where renowned personalities from different fields like media, theatre, education etc train the chosen students and help them recognise their talent. After the screening through school and regional round, Kavya Bhagat of Std X of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road reached the Final Level. On the spot – written story of Kavya Bhagat was highly applauded by the panel of judges and it has been selected for publication in one of their book for children. It is a laudable achievement as students from other countries around 200 participants from other countries like Muscat, Tinsukia etc. Regional Director, Punjab Zone – A, Dr (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College, Amritsar congratulated the student for her achievement. They said that it was very important to know one’s potential at the right time so as to chisel it. They blessed her to pursue her passion. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school, applended her efforts and advised her to experiment and explore new avenues for a brighter future.
