DAV College won First position in Body Building Championship

Amritsar, January 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV College won first position in Inter College Body Building

Championship organized by Guru Nanak Dev University. College students showed an extra ordinary performance during the competition. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students and Dr B.B Yadav, Head Department of Sports and Physical Education. He also applauded Parul, Manpreet, Karan, Anoop, Simrat pal singh and Malkit for their enthusiastic performance during the competition.

     While giving information about the competition, Dr. BB Yadav said that College won first position leaving behind all its competitors. He told that Parul won 3^rd position in 60 Kg weight lifting category, Manpreet Singh won 1^st position in 65 Kg weight lifting category and also bagged the tag of  Mr. GNDU, Mangal Singh won 1st position in 70 Kg weight lifting category, karan and Malkit won 1^st and 3^rd position in 75 Kg weight lifting category respectively, Anoop singh won 1^st position in 85 Kg weight lifting category and Simrat Pal Singh won 1^st position in 90 Kg weight lifting category during the Competition. Dr. Vikas Bardwaj and Prof. Sandeep also congratulated the winners on their success.
