BBK DAV College Women Wins Gndu Inter-College Air Pistol Shooting Championship

Amritsar, January 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Air pistol shooting team of BBK DAV College for Women won the

GNDU Inter-College Air Pistol Shooting Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University. College team put up a splendid show by defeating HMV College, Jalandhar and Khalsa College, Amritsar. Ms. Ranmandeep Kaur and Ayushi Dhaka won silver medals in All India Intervarsity Championship held at GNDU Amritsar. Members of the winning team were Ms. Ranmandeep Kaur, Ayushi Dhaka, Diksha Sheoran and Km Shiksha Arya. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
