Amritsar, January 25 (Punjab Post Bureau)- To invoke the blessings of the Almighty for excellent result of class X and XII Board Exams 2017 Ardas Diwas was held in the Gurudwara Sahib , Chief Khalsa Diwan. Students of the school recited shabad kirtan after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, which filled the atmosphere with spirituality and mysticism. As per the tradition of school the management honoured 5 teachers of the school for their able guidance to their students for scoring 100 marks in different subjects in the previous year’s batch.Mrs. Prabhjot Kaur, Mrs. Jasbir Kaur, Mrs. Jagmeet Kaur, Mrs. Amanpreet Kaur and Mrs. Pardeep Kaur were recipients of this honour. 13 students of XII were honoured for their zealous participation in various extracurricular activities in school. Dr. H.S. Sandhu was also honoured for his valuable services as the Principal of CKD Institute of Management and Technology. Charanjit Singh Chadha President CKDCS, in his motivational speech urged the students about the significance of prayer, blessings of the elders and hard work to accomplish any task. Principal/Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh exhorted the students about the importance of perseverance to reach the pinnacle of success. S. Harminder Singh, Member Incharge apprised the students about the importance of a teacher, who acts as a torch bearer in a students’ path. Other dignitaries present on the occasion to bless the outgoing batch were Navpreet Singh Sahni (Member Incharge), Dr. (Mrs.) Amarpali Kaur. The program was attended by the staff of the school and CKD of Management and Technology.
