CKD Charitable Society celebrated Republic Day at Sri Guru Harkrishan School Sultanwind

Amritsar, January 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society celebrated the 68th Republic Day at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Sultanwind Link Road. Charanjit Singh Chadha President CKDCS was the Chief Guest  and Gurpartap Singh Tikka  paerticipated as the Special Guest on the occasion.

Other dignitaries Narinder Singh Khurana Hony. Secretary CKDCS, Harminder Singh Aditional. Hony. Secretary CKDCS, Santokh Singh Sethi, Gurinder Singh Chawla and Dr. Dharamveer Singh Director Education graced the occasion. The Members Incharge of the school Surjit Sing, Navdeep Singh and Randip Singh and Principal Madam Amarjeet Kaur extended the floral welcome to the reverred guests. The National Flag was hoisted and the students saluted the National Flag with the beats of the band and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is India . The choir group presented the School Shabad. Kashmiri Dance by International School, Haryanvi Dance by Majitha Bypass , Gujrati Dance and Punjabi folk Dance by the host school was presented to depict the theme of unity in diversity. Aa play on environment was staged by the Golden Avenue Branch school. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. The chief Guests in their speeches urged the students to do their best and be proud of being Indian. Chief Khalsa Diwan Mangement expressed their gratitude that with the undying efforts of Members Incharge of the school the constructing of dilapidated road has also been started. Gurpartap Singh Tikka assured the quick completion of the project of road and LED lighting. The day was also made momentous by setting up a new Nishaan Sahib in the school premises and by the inauguration of school Badminton, Cricket, Basketball Grounds. Surjit Singh Member Incharge of the school extended the vote of thanks.
