DAV Students Outshined in the University Examinations-2016

Amritsar, February 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College Amritsar bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in December 2016. In the recent results declared by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Surbhi Mehra of B.Sc (IT)-I secured 310/400 marks and bagged 8^TH position in university and 1^st position in district. Varinda Kapoor of BSc (IT)- III secured 216/300 marks and bagged 16^th position in university and 2^nd position in district.

Students of BCA- Sem-1 also bagged various meritorious positions, Deepak Kumar Giri secured 308/400 marks and bagged 11^th position in university and 4^th position in district, Japneet Singh secured 305/400 marks and bagged 13^th position in university and 6^th position in district, Mehak Khemka secured 302/400 marks and bagged 16^th position in university, Sukhdeep kaur secured 301/400 marks and bagged 17^th position in university, Raghav Poddar secured 300/400 marks and bagged 18^th position in university, Pratiksha Singh secured 300/400 marks and bagged 18^th position in university. Neha student of PGDCA-Sem-1 secured 333/400 marks and bagged 5^th position in the university and 3^rd position in District.

Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the college is proud of achievements of the students and motivated them to keep it up. He also applauded the efforts of PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and congratulated Dr Amardeep Gupta, Head of the Department and other faculty members of the Department.  Prof Sanjiv Dutta and Prof Sunny Thakural also extended their heartiest congratulation to the students on this occasion,.
