Three Day Seminar ‘Workshop to enhance Soft Skill of the Teachers’ held

Amritsar, March 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Teachers are the most invaluable resource of an educational institution. Therefore their teaching skills need to be honed from time to time. Keeping this in mind in-service training workshops are a regular feature at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road. In continuation with the same series a 3 days seminar was conducted in Kalgidhar Auditorium on March 23 in which 10 Pre-Primary and 3 Primary teachers participated as Key Resoruce Persons. The aim of the workshop was to bring about uniformity in all the schools run under the banner of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society and to give and share information at one platform. The resource persons conducted interesting and innovative bactivities to make the workshop more effective. Various topics were covered such as handwriting, learing by doing, Moral values, Project work, Assesment of students and Improving Communication skills of teachers. Member incharge Harminder Singh, Navpreet Singh Sahni,  Mrs. Nidhi Mehra Director Vivek Public School, Mrs. Manisha Principal Adarsh School, Naushehra Pannunan And Mrs. Malti Narang Principal Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Sur Singh were the Guests of Honour. Principal/Director Dr. Dharam Veer Siongh welcomed the guests and also presented a PPT presentation on “How to achieve Success” Not only this, he applauded the efforts of Pre-Primary and Primary teachers. He also thanked the guests for their valuable insight and suggestions which he said would definitely improve quality education in schools. The three days workshop was an enriching experience for all.
