Farewell to Prof. A.S Brar by Senior Teachers & Officers

Amritsar, 31 March (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Appreciating the great contribution of Prof A.S Brar as Vice Chancellor of GND University in the Institution building senior faculty got together to bid him fare well this evening in the University Guest House. . In unison everyone spoke highly of the vision and leadership skills of Prof A.S Brar due to which the University today is one of the most prestigious names in the country. 

It is pertinent to mention here that in all National rankings GND university has a great recognition and is one of the most sought after University by students. The skills with which Prof Brar has made this institution a pioneer university in implementing  academic initiatives, and in providing state of the art infrastructural facilities is itself the proof of the pie. The University unlike many state Universities is in good financial health. A significant amount of money was generated and spent in his tenure to create world class facilities for students and researchers

The faculty and administrative staff complimented Prof Brar for his leadership skills and the trust with which he gave space to his office bearers. His fearlessness is another hallmark of his personality. Prof Brar and Mrs. Brar extended their words of gratitude to the fraternity for their support and wished that this University achieves greater heights and exhorted one and all to be working diligently for the same

Present in this occasion were: Prof Tung, DAA; Prof DHILLON, Ex Registrar, Prof Kahlon, Registrar, Prof. Sekhon, Prof Sidhu, Prof Banipal, Prof Mahajan, Prof Dua, Principal Randhawa, Principal Dharamjit, Director Youth welfare, Director Adult Education, and many other senior faculty members and the officers of the University.
