Excellent Placements Of CKD Institute Students

Amritsar, June 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- CKD INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY AMRITSAR is an institution with excellent academics and strong research capabilities, operating in a high quality learning environment, to provide an educational experience beyond expectations to intellectually sound industry. CKD Institute has recently opened its new venture at Taran Tarn also. CKDIMT, Amritsar commenced placement session for its MBA students with very renowned company in a telecom Sector-Videocon Telecom where 17 students were finally selected for various locations like Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Amritsar. In its continuous move towards placements for MBA students, 99acres.com visited the Campus. This company deals in online business. This drive was open for students from other colleges also. One student was selected in this drive.

Thereafter Tommy Hilfiger, one of the world’s leading premium lifestyle brands visited CKD for placement of MBA students. This drive was also open for students from other colleges. Total 5 students were selected in this drive.Thereafter Aditya Birla Sun life, one of the leading Brand in Insurance Sector visited CKD for placement of MBA students. Aditya Birla Sun life offered three profile to the students of CKD. Assistant Sales Manager to Marketing, Training Manager to HR and IT Manager to MBA( IT) students.  This drive was exclusively for the students of CKDIMT. Total 36 students were shortlisted in this drive.

Another big achievement attained by CKD in came in the pocket of the CKD, when the Mega Job Fest 2014 was organised at CKDIMT, Amritsar. More than 20 Multinational and Top Indian Companies participated  like HCL (CDC), RH INTERNATIONAL LTD., MICRO LABS LTD., NIIT LIMITED,WAVE BEVERAGES(COCA COLA), VIDEOCON TELECOM, PICNFRAMES TECHNOLOGIES etc. The USP of this Job Fair was that it covered almost all the sectors like Telecom, Information Technology, Retail, FMCG etc. Students from CKD institute as also from other reputed colleges of the town availed this opportunity and stated that this event was quite useful for them as they had an opportunity where they could choose from various companies under one roof.

All the students of MBA Batch 2014 of CKDIMT has already been placed in big multinational companies like  HCL (CDC), RH INTERNATIONAL LTD., MICRO LABS LTD., NIIT LIMITED, WAVE BEVERAGES (COCA COLA), VIDEOCON TELECOM, Aditya Birla Sun life etc and all the college students are selected for Summer Placement. Meanwhile, S. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President CKD and Principal Dr. H. S. Sandhu congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts of Paramjit Singh Makkar, Head- Placements & Corporate Relations for this achievement.
