Workshop on 3D Relief Work Held for Students

Amritsar, May 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A two day workshop on 3D Relief Work was organised at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road in collaboration with Pidilite Industries. The workshop was attended by 50 students of Std XII (Fine Arts). Mr. Rakesh Sen was the expert from Pidilite who trained the students in the technique of 3D Relief Work. The students showed a lot of interest in learning the new technique which would enhance their skill and add to their profile. During the workshop all the students repared a painting using the technique and learnt the intricacies of the art. The resource person was overwhelmed to see the creativity of the students and praised the school for the efforts put in by the teachers to groom the students.  Regional Director, Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal  DAV College Amritsar appreciated the school for providing the students with such opportunities to explore  and enhance their skill. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school thanked the resource person for his time and sharing the art with students. She added that art is a skill which must be improved and enhanced with practice. She applauded the students for their efforts.
