Chief Khalsa Diwan going to organise a Grand and Divine Kirtan Darbar

Amritsar, July 20 (Manjit Kaur)- An exquisite Kirtan Darbar is hosted every year on the occasion of “Parkash Purab of Eighth Guru Shri Guru Harkrishan ji Sahib” by Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. This Year also, Kirtan Darbar on Grand scale is going to be organized on 27 July, 2014 ( Sunday) from 5.30 pm to 10:30 pm on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab. In a Press conference organized today for the purpose , President Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha commented that Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society is always in the efforts of preserving the heritage and descending the religious values to the next generation. Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh ji Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh, Head Granthi Sri Darbar Sahib and other religious personalities would grace the occasion. Famous Sikh exponents Sant Anoop Singh Une wale, Padam Shri Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, Bhai Manjit Singh Kanpuri, Bhia Amandeep Singh Bibi Kaulan Wale, Bibi Prabhjot Kaur, G.T. Road, School Jatha, Bhai Jaswinder Singh, Bibi Kaulan wale.

The programe includes joint efforts of services and participation from Shri Amritsar Sewak Sabha Society, Waheguru Simran Sewa Society and Gurmat satsung Sabha. Kirtan Darbar features exhibition with special theme of reflecting life of Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib, Sikh history, faith and culture. S. Manjit Singh G.K ( President DSGMC), Dr. Daljit Singh (Principal, retd., Khalsa College, Amritsar), Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon ( Principal, Khalsa college of Education, Amritsar) will be honoured by Chief Khalsa Diwan for their splendrous services. At the occasion Vice President Dr. Santokh Singh, Hon. Secy S. N.S. Khurana, S. Harminder Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh Advocate, S. Pritpal Singh Sethi, S. Tajinder Singh Sardar Pagri House wale, Dr. Santokh Singh Sethi, S. Dhanraj Singh, Dr. Dharamveer Singh Principals of CKD schools and other societies head going to be involved in the organization of Kirtan Darbar were present.
