Kapurthala, Nov 27 (Punjab Post Bueau) – Good dental health is important to maintain a hy mouth, ealthteeth and gums said Civil Surgeon Dr. jasmeet bawa on the inauguration of 32^nd Dental health fortnight here today. She also said that healthy teeth are one of the indicators of human well being. Ppoor oral hygiene is the cause of other health problems also, she added.

         District Dental Health Officer Dr. Surinder Mall said that the aim of Dental Fortnight (25 Nov. to 9 Dec.) is to generate awareness regarding importance of dental health among the masses. During the fortnight free dental treatment will be provided to all the public and free dentures will be distributed to the needy senior citizens. An Awareness exhibition on oral hygiene was well displayed by the dental doctors . To enhance the occasion a smile and take selfie point was center of attraction on launch of 32^nd dental fortnight at district hospital kapurthala. ACS Dr. Ramesh kumari banga, DFPO Dr. Raj karni, DMC Dr. Sarika Duggal, DHO Dr. Kuljit singh, DIO Dr. Asha mangat, DR. Monider Kaur, Dr. Gurdev Bhatti were also present there.
