Historic Punjabi play ‘Sirhind Di Deewar’ staged in Delhi

New Delhi / Patiala, February 21 (Punjab Post- Dr. Jaswant Singh Puri) – A special show of the famous Punjabi play ‘Sirhind Di Deewar’ was staged at the Siri Fort Auditorium New Delhi on February 15. The play originally conceived by Theatre legend Late Mr. Harpal Tiwana was directed by his son and Director of the Harpal Tiwana Centre for Performing Arts Patiala Mr. Manpal Tiwana .

            The cast of the play besides others also included alumni and staff member Mr. Sukhpal Singh of Yadavindra Public School Patiala. Mr. Sukhpal who has been associated with this play in the past too  played the role of a court historian ‘Qatib’.
