Distributes 350 packets of ration in Dalhuwal village of Panchkula
Chandigarh, March 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The COVID-19 has disrupted normal life and business in India and
across the world. The need of the hour is to protect all sections of society in the country and to keep them safe and protected. In this challenging time to support the authorities and underprivileged, realty major DLF has contributed a sum of Rs 5 crores to the Chief Minister of Haryana’s relief fund. The Group also distributed 350 ration packets of rice, pulses, flour etc. to the underprivileged people of Dalhuwal Village in Panchkula.
In addition to that, DLF Foundation has also distributed ration packets to more than 15000 families in Gurugram and Manesar. These food packs contained 5 kg of flour, 2 kg of rice, pulses, spices, salt and cooking oil. Apart from this 50000 face masks, 3 lakh gloves and sanitizers were given to distt. Authorities of Gurgaon and 25000 face masks were given to Faridabad authorities for distribution. DLF in coordination with the District Administration is also providing cooked meals to more than 60000 migrant labourers in Gurugram and Manesar.
DLF Foundation is working with its partners for the welfare of migrant workers through its presence in 24 cities.
