AAP condemn attack on protesters by SGPC task force

Jathedar must take strict action against culprits involved in assault on Sikh activists protesting outside SGPC office – Sandhwan

Amritsar, October 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Attack on members of Satkar Committee staging protest outside the SGPC office against the misappropriation of 328 Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib and demanding action against the SGPC employees involved in the incident from last 40 days approximately is highly deplorable and Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib must take strict action against the culprits” said AAP MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan during his visit to Civil Hospital Amritsar to meet the injured persons.

                  The Kotkapura legislator said that the reckless attitude and violent behaviour of the SGPC officials towards the protesters and the media fraternity is an insult to the entire Sikh community. SGPC which was meant to be the organisation that took care of the Sikh community’s interests is now being controlled by Akali Dal under the patronage of Parkash Singh Badal and his son who are using the prestigious Sikh organization for political and financial gains.  

                   State Joint Secretary Ashok Talwar District Secretary Iqbal Singh Bhullar, Parminder Singh Sethi President (Amritsar-Urban) along with senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
