Amritsar, March 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road corroborated their
hardwork by winning the KVPY scholarship. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the area of basic science. It is conducted by Indian Institute of Science.
Three students of the school Karsh Verma Std – XII , Chaitanya Gupta Std – XII and Nipun Nohria Std – XI all of science stream are now eligible for monthly fellowship for all further studies as well as admission into premier institutes like IISC and IISER etc.
Regional officer Punjab Zone (A) Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra lauded the students for their brilliant performance and wished them success.
Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia acknowledged the hardwork of the students and blessed them to achieve greater heights.
Principal of the school, Mrs. Anita Mehra, was highly appreciative of the laurels that these students have won and applauded them for their diligent preparation.
