GNDU professor inducted as council member for CRSI

Amritsar, February 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Professor Paramjit Kaur of Department of Chemistry of Guru Nanak Dev University has been inducted as member of council of the prestigious Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI), Bangalore. The Council of the Chemical Research Society of India met recently in JNU, New Delhi and elected new members of the Council, which was aptly endorsed by the General Body of the same.

CRSI is an India based scientific society dedicated to the field of Chemistry. It was established in 1999 as part of the 50 th anniversary celebration of the country’s independence and have active collaboration with international societies like the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, The American Chemical Society, German Chemical Society and French Chemical Society. This honor is bestowed in recognition of contributions of Professor Kaur in Chemical research and teaching. Prof. Kaur has published over 80 research publications including book chapters in international journals of repute and guided 10 Ph.D. students. She has delivered several invited talks in India and abroad in conferences, symposium etc. She will be member of the council for the period April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2026.
